LUMAGROVE

The wait is over! The 2nd EP from Lumagrove, “Simple Accumulation”, is now available for FREE DOWNLOAD via Soundcloud and Bandcamp! The album features 5 brand new tracks and a special solfeggio-frequence meditation song. The album is loaded with new collaborations from a slew of talented people on multiple mediums. Visit the photos section for pictures of all of the amazing art that was created in collaboration with this album as well. Six talented artists were asked to listen to the album and create their own interpretations of the music and some wonderful art came out of it.

In celebration of the new release, there will be FREE copies of the album tomorrow night at the show in Orlando. The show is part of the Purple Hatter’s Ball pre-party series and features good friends Sir Charles and Greenhouse Lounge. We want to see all of your smiling faces there tomorrow getting down with us!

It took a lot of work to finally make it to this point but I could not be any more excited to share this new album with you all. It took a team of people to make this a reality and my gratitude to you all is immeasurable. To all the musicians, artists, producers, managers, friends and family that were involved, I can’t thank you enough. I will try my best to remember everyone but a huge, giant thank you to the following people:

We are a few short weeks away from the release of the new EP Simple Accumulation on May 7th and I could not be more excited to share it with all of you! It has been months of a lot of hard work but I am truly proud of it and hope you all can gain something from it like I have. The album has 6 brand new tracks including a bonus solfeggio-filled meditation song as well as some fantastic collaborations including the album being mastered by Jacksonville’s own Sir Charles. For this exciting release, Dub Era Music has decided to release the album through their site DubEra.com along with some expert write-ups about the album, the sound, and where Lumagrove will be going in the future.

Also, the album has been recorded in conjunction with an incredibly talented group of visual artists. Each of the six songs on the EP will feature an exclusive  piece of art specifically designed for the record. Images will be released with the digital album but keep an eye out for the prints coming to a show near you!

In addition, the show May 8th in Orlando will be the album’s release show. We will have FREE copies of the album available and be playing some jammed-out versions of the tracks.

Get ready Orlando! It’s been a long time coming but Lumagrove is finally heading your way! I will be joining Greenhouse Lounge and Sir Charles at the Social on May 8th to celebrate the start of Purple Hatter’s Ball weekend. Tickets will be $10 ahead time or $12 day of show. All proceeds will be going to the Rachel Morningstar Foundation to continue Rachel’s legacy and keep the festival alive. There will be a raffle as well with items from Grassroots California, Mood Hoops, and Headstash. I’m very excited to be a part of such a great cause and such an awesome night. I’m excited to announce some surprise changes for the Feb 9th show at 1904. The show will still feature myself and Higher Learning but has been moved to Feb 7th and will now be headlined by Up Until Now of 1320 Records! If you’re not familiar, these guys haven been crushing it from Cali to New York and are finally coming to Jax! In addition, the show will feature artists on 2 stages including close friends The Fuzz and Vlad the Inhaler as well as Kevin Velarde and Dub Theorist. Tix are only $12 for a ton of music so mark you’re calendar!

Hello all! I am excited to announce that I’ll be joining the guys from Higher Learning at 1904 Music Hall February 9th. The guys are making their way down from Atlanta so make sure to come out and show them how Jacksonville gets down. I am also pleased to announce the release date for the new EP Simple Accumulation being put out via Bandcamp and Soundcloud February 22. As always, the album will be free and open to everyone! And keep your eyes out for a series of album art which will be released with the record as well. So as some of you may, or may not, have heard, we have a major announcement that we’ve been waiting to share with you all. It is with no hard feelings and much mutual respect that Max has decided to part ways with Lumagrove starting 2013. We have had an absolutely AMAZING time playing together for you all this past year and we thank you all so much for it! It is with Max’s blessing that I will continue on with Lumagrove and keep bringing you the quality tunes you’ve come to know and love. The live set up will be now be a combination of DJ Sets and fully instrumented/live produced Drum Sets with drums and live production. Also expect new surprises, new collaborations, new visuals, and a new album coming soon! If you’re anxiously awaiting our show with Dr. Fameus and SPORE December 2nd, we have good news! Starting this weekend we will be doing a couple nights at Blue’s Rock Cafe in Jacksonville Beach. The two nights will be sandwiched around our show with Dr. Fameus. The first being this Sunday, November 25th and the 2nd night, and our last show of the year, being Decemeber 16th. We also  have some big stuff lined up for 2013 that we can’t wait to tell you about. We have been working on a lot of new material that we’re very ready to share with you all! The high-engery is higher, the grooves are groovier, and the downtempo is all the way down.We have also been working with a variety of new production techniques that we’ve picked up in our travels. Expect new sounds, new instruments, and a new visual set up coming very soon! We are also in the final stages of our 2nd album “Simple Accumulation” that will be out before the end of the year. We are so excited to be returning to Club TSI with one of our main inspirations, the brilliant Allen Aucoin of the Disco Biscuits AKA Dr. Fameus! The show will be December 2nd with our Jacksonville homies, SPORE, just coming off a big show with Blue’s Traveler. Tickets are only $10 for an oversized night of music. Don’t sleep on this one because this little club will fill out fast! Also, keep an eye out for our new CD “Simple Accumulation” before the end of the year. Artwork and merch coming soon. As promised, we have some exciting updates to bring you all. We will be hitting the road for a few days this month on our first mini-tour. First stop will be at the CRAVE Music Festival in Tallahassee on October 5th featuring Satoru and others. Next, October 7th we will be joining some of our favorite bands at this year’s Jam-o-rama Rage-a-thona Festival in Lakeland, FL featuring Dopapod, Arpetrio, Greenhouse Lounge, Lucky Costello, S.P.O.R.E. and a lot of other great acts. Tickets are only $35 ahead of time for the whole weekend so don’t sleep on this one! Finally, we will be participating in the VSU Homecoming rave Oct 20th in Valdosta, GA. Because we are so pumped about this run of shows, we wanted to give you all a BRAND NEW TRACK from our upcoming album “Simple Accumulation of Music” due to drop in November.
