I am really excited to release the final Mix Down episode of the year and it’s the biggest and best one yet! This latest installment is an homage to 2013 and the past year of musical living. Tracks include originals from “Simple Accumulation”, inspiring masterpieces from around the world, and songs from some of the amazing and talented people whos paths I’ve gotten to cross over the year including Kaminanda, Futexture, Arpetrio, Higher Learning, Opposite Box, and Jacksonville’s finest: S.P.O.R.E, T3∆M, Greenhouse Lounge, Galactic Math, Mad Relativity, Sir Charles, and Vlad the Inhaler. The almost 2 hour mix also includes two never-before-released Lumagrove tracks; a remix of Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants” and the new original “Firewood” mastered by Anthony Thogmartin of Papadosio. This mix is a small thank you for all the love and support you all have given this project over the past 2 years. You all make dreams come true! 2014 already has a lot in store for Lumagrove and I can’t wait to keep sharing it with all of you. So much love and I’ll see you soon
After an absolutely amazing weekend at Little Econ Love Fest, it’s time to bring the festy vibe back to Jacksonville at 1904 Music Hall. The people over at the Sonic Bloom festival put together quite the tour bringing some of their favorite acts from their festival around the country to showcase that west coast festival feel all over the US. Jacksonville was lucky enough to land on the tour and Lumagrove will be joining in the fun! This Friday, April 4, The Malah, Futexture, Spankalicous, and more will be taking the stage along with some of Jacksonville’s best electronic musicians including Bit Deff, Vlad the Inhaler, and more. This is a rare treat for our area and I could not be more excited to join the festivities!
Hello world! 2014 has already been an awesomely exciting year for Lumagrove. After sharing the stage with some my favorite acts this year and already logging in a mini-tour, it’s time for the first festival appearance of the year! Lil’ Econ Love Fest will be held March 28-30 outside of Lakeland, FL at the beautiful Maddox Ranch. Tickets are an unbelievable $30 for all 3 days which includes camping, workshop access, and of course, more music then you can handle including my close friends SPORE and Lucky Costello as well as some of the best up-and-coming acts in Florida such as Green Sunshine, Displace, and funkUS. Also, as a rare treat, the organizers from What’s It Records have put together a very impressive workshop/playshop schedule courtesy of Tampa Bay’s Rising Light and Jacksonville’s own C4 Collective. Both groups will have impressive art installations and dome structures as part of their stay that will welcome attendees to make the most of their weekend through a variety of discussions on topics such as earthskills, mediation, yoga, healing, and community outreach. All are welcome and all workshops are free to all in attendance. There might also be a special late-night performance from yours truly ;) For more info, visit http://ihateradio.org/lilelf. See you on the Ranch!
We are all back and settled after an amazing Florida run through Orlando, Boca Raton, and Jacksonville. Big thanks to everyone who helped put it all together including What’s Sit Records, Little Econ Love Fest, The Funky Buddha Lounge, and Road Samurai Productions as well as the fantastic musical acts along the way, funkUS, Warp9, and S.P.O.R.E.. We’re getting ready for another great night at 1904 Music Hall on February 19th with the face-melting UV Hippo. Check out the video below for all the proof you need!
