Operation Greenfire Fundraising Kick-off Event

Operation Greenfire Fundraising Kick-off Event

C4Collective are beyond excited to be hosting our first C4SociALL event in our local music community at 1904 Music Hall on July 10th. This will be a night of Music, Fashion, Art, and Dance featuring Herd Of Watts and a fashion show made of all upcycled material by Jamila Designs. It will also be a night and dance of Art featuring Cory Ponz and Brian Bernard and a hip-hop dance performance by a local dance school. More bands TBA!

Entry is on a sliding scale from $5-15. That is $5 to get in with an additional suggested $5-10 donation.

The main intention of this event is to raise funds to install a string of 5 permaculture gardens in the local communities. We are calling this initiative Operation Greenfire. Operation Greenfire is a direct-action initiative of C4Collective. Using the ethics and principles of Permaculture, the action plan is to install a string of 5 ecologically designed gardens at private residences in the low-income areas of Jacksonville. We will then use these 5 residential gardens as educational examples to spread the knowledge of growing your own food, gardening, and permaculture. We will continue to have a fund solely dedicated to installing these ecological gardens.

Jazz Fest After Dark

Jazz Fest weekend has been heating up in Jacksonville! Tonight I will proudly be taking the stage with the homies in SPORE and the unrivaled uniqueness of Moon Hooch. These guys are freaking great and bring some serious originality. Plus the show is FREE! The whole Elbow area will be going off with FREE shows all weekend so come out and experience Jacksonville with us!

Road to Sonic Bloom

After an absolutely amazing weekend at Little Econ Love Fest, it’s time to bring the festy vibe back to Jacksonville at 1904 Music Hall. The people over at the Sonic Bloom festival put together quite the tour bringing some of their favorite acts from their festival around the country to showcase that west coast festival feel all over the US. Jacksonville was lucky enough to land on the tour and Lumagrove will be joining in the fun! This Friday, April 4, The Malah, Futexture, Spankalicous, and more will be taking the stage along with some of Jacksonville’s best electronic musicians including Bit Deff, Vlad the Inhaler, and more. This is a rare treat for our area and I could not be more excited to join the festivities!

Lil’ Econ Love Fest

Hello world! 2014 has already been an awesomely exciting year for Lumagrove. After sharing the stage with some my favorite acts this year and already logging in a mini-tour, it’s time for the first festival appearance of the year! Lil’ Econ Love Fest will be held March 28-30 outside of Lakeland, FL at the beautiful Maddox Ranch. Tickets are an unbelievable $30 for all 3 days which includes camping, workshop access, and of course, more music then you can handle including my close friends SPORE and Lucky Costello as well as some of the best up-and-coming acts in Florida such as Green Sunshine, Displace, and funkUS. Also, as a rare treat, the organizers from What’s It Records have put together a very impressive workshop/playshop schedule courtesy of Tampa Bay’s Rising Light and Jacksonville’s own C4 Collective. Both groups will have impressive art installations and dome structures as part of their stay that will welcome attendees to make the most of their weekend through a variety of discussions on topics such as earthskills, mediation, yoga, healing, and community outreach. All are welcome and all workshops are free to all in attendance. There might also be a special late-night performance from yours truly ;) For more info, visit See you on the Ranch!
